Well after posting a few threads & making a few comments i thought its time i showed everyone what ive been doing with my spare time.... Heres a few pics whn i first bought her, stock as a rock SL Turbo. She had 186k on the clock, stock motor, except for some home job front mount (it worked but!), auto, lsd and stock cerulean blue interior.

Ran ok as a stocker, took it out once in a blue moon, but like all of us, just wanted more go. Pulled her off the road mid march 2010. So heres what ive done so far.
MOTOR:
Will be copping full forged bottom end, when im finished dummy fitting my pipes, oil & fuel lines etc (im doing it last so i can drive it once its done, not have a new engine sit around because im too broke to connect it all up)
ACCESSORIES:
new GT35/40 V-band
1600cc Indy blue injectors on billet rail
chopped & changed VLT plenum with XF throttle body
High Energy sump
Microtech LT10s with the X6 ingnition module (cant afford a motec)
twin 044s & surge tank setup, carter black pre pump (under car), twin -8 feeds, -6 return
turbosmart 38mm progate, Raceport BOV, & FPR-800 fuel reg
battery & fuse box relocated
front mount cooler (goes without saying)
3.5" mandrel bent exhaust (minus dump pipe, havent made one yet)
DRIVELINE:
Coan Engineering (USA) Powerglide, 1.80 straight cut gearset, billet input & output shafts, transbrake/manual valve body, extra clutches in top gear, alloy deep pan, B&M shifter.
PWR 11" trans cooler (mounted behind front bar)
One piece 3" tailshaft with mark williams yoke & 1350 unis
Full spooled 31 spline Borg Warner with adjustable top arms, adjustbale panhard rod, Nolathane bushes and Koni yellow adjustbale shocks

LEFT TO DO:
Brakes (VT master/front discs set up)
Front struts (new 90/10 inserts)
Turbo oil & water lines
Air box (yes an airbox)
Dump & screamer pipe
Converter (not until i get my cam specs)
Piss my battery tray off and prep & paint the engine bay
Connect up my oil, fuel & trans gauges
Build the bottom end, and tune it then RACE IT!!!!!!!!!
Like to point out, Im building this car to a strict budget, so flashy rims will be subsituted for 15x7 chasers with slicks, paint is staying as is, interior also, does the job for me. All up, including the purchase of the car, this should cost me a pube hair under 20k, provided i dont break anything.
Now you know my life story, im goin back into the shed to work on it some more.

Comments and advice appreciated.
Update 2/6/2010
Cranked her over last night, ran it for a couple mins, not for long though, just to see if it would run.looks like i wired the Microtech up properly (its not rocket science), primed & checked the fuel system, couple of leaky o-ring on the injectors but thats all. Still need to complete the oil feed to the turbo, and finish my dump pipe. Ahh progress, slowly but surely
Keep on VL'in
Cheers

OK guys. Quick update
Got car back last night from Maatouk, made approx 350rwhp @ 14psi with my ignition being the limiting factor at this stage (as well as a stock bottom end!) But goes like an absolute weapon atm.
Will be getting a set of drag radials asap will let you now how she goes at the strip.

Big massive thank you to Anthony Maatouk for the tune and ironing out all the bugs- *** the one and only VL god, highly recommeneded.

Pics and timeslips soon!

Update:
Took it down to wicked wednesday (20-10-10)
First run was 12.5 @ 107, leaving the line no boost just to see how she feels on the strip
Second time around thought id be a hero and launch off the transbrake = 12.8 @ 108 and massive wheelspin (2.2 60ft)
Third time let air pressure down to 10psi and went 11.8 @ 109.
The car is geared too high (4.11) with the pissy 215/60/15 nankangs i was running (hence the lowish MPH), the car was nudging the soft cut limiter at the speed traps. but i couldnt help myself from takin her out. Will be investing in a set of 28x9's very soon, aswell as fitting a few safety items, as asked by the andra people at the track.
Car is running 13 psi on E85 (because its cheap) and tuned by Maatouk.
Updates soon

Thanks mate, yeah the cam sounds and feels great, more than happy with how the tune is setup. Very snappy at first but once you get used to it its great, just fitted a harness, tailshaft loop and a trans blanket, getting her ready for next wednesday.
