Pilot/Spigot Bearing Removal Tool

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Pilot-Spigot-...item48374458ed

Has anyone got one of these I can borrow? I'm not paying $120 (locally) for something I only need for five seconds.

I can't get the auto spigot out of the back of the crank, despite my best efforts (yes, I have tried everything, including an oxy torch).

use simple hydrolics man...
u can pack it with grease or wet tissue as best u can get something that fits into the center of the bearing tightly but will still fit (use like a steel rod or something) then hit the rod with a hammer and the bearing should pop out (make sure its tight or the grease could squirt out and get ya eyes or some sh*t)

hope that helps

The bearing is going to be destroyed when I get it out anyway, because it's given me so much grief the piece of **** deserves to die.

Have you got a pic of it?

I can get a pic gimme a min I'll see if I can find one. It's alot better than the one in your pic it's got three arms and instead of the slide hammer it has a bolt you wind in so it actually applies alot more force
