wanted buick v6+ auto box

g'day

im after a running buick v6 and auto box to drop into the vr wagon im picking up this week. must be running and in good condition.

i wld prefer one out of a vr or vs but vn and vp motors are ok

im not looking at spending much either.

let me know whats out there

According to this link, Holden re-manufactured their own 'Buick' based engine in the VN, carried this over with some revisions to the VP, then to the VR, then the ECOTEC version of a 'Buick' based engine - giving 23 HP more than the engine in the VR.

found a motor and box out of a vr last night. now just got 2 get the body and throw the lot together and get it registed b4 narrogin next weekend......might be in for a tough week

Yeah holden re-designed them. This is why you can get a series1 vn motor to go harder then a series2+
