Phase three sold for $750,000
Just when you thought the $680,000 paid was too high. Sydney morning herald have run a story of a phase three selling for $750,000. These cars will hit 1 million and it will be soon. Makes our cars look cheap. Also a comment was made as to when the bubble will burst and a good point was made. The people paying these prices will not sell them cheaply so that alone should keep prices high.Muscle cars are out performing property and shares with no tax to pay. There is still some years in it yet i think.

Yes i can't see it slowing down either. When the madness started i thought it would only last a year but its going out of control. Easily a couple if not more years left in it till they stop rising.

Should be interesting to see what the GT goes for tomorrow night, with in mind that it has had a fair hit in the rear quarter, think I might head down there myself if I'm not working.

Some believe they will slow down once they hit the million mark but look at american muscle. 1.3m 1.8m 2.4m. When they start rounding to the closest $100,000 thats insane. It could happen hear too especially if america starts recognising australian muscle cars. It could happen.

My friend has recently purchased a wild violet black interior phase 3 from Tasmainia, it had been resprayed red during the 80's as the owner didnt like the purple color, the only way you could tell was from the id tags and a little bit they missed near where the radiator sits.
He is going to restore is back to original glory. He paid $250,000. |
