low life f@$(*#

well it had to happen owning a old commo especially a vl and i just knew someday it would evetually be mine, some farrrkkken **** had a go at my door lock on my pride and joy...my n/a vl calais. went to my car, pressed the remote to unlock it and the doors locked?? pressed the remote again to open it, opened the door and the alarm light was flashing and siren kept on going off?? i tried locking the doors but the locks kept popping open?? finally got the alarm light and siren to stop but i still couldnt lock the doors??????

i went around the car and found out why, the passenger door lock was popped out the lowlife(s) totally hammered the lock luckily they couldnt get in the car, there are a few small chips taken from the paint work around the lock. guessing tho they used something more than a screwdriver? usually the locks are faarkkkked when some1 sticks a screwdriver into one but they must have been digging at mine with something good?? just lucky they couldnt get in and the car is still with me.

if only i could ever find out who they were, i would tie up one of ankles and give them the joy ride they wanted but just tied behind the car they tried to steal. wasnt a good feeling driving home knowing what had happened but i'll sit back and let karma do its work...what goes around comes around, never forget that. the farrkker will get their day.

Those crim's were more than happy to damage your car to get into it.

Theres a few other ways u can get into a VL and thank god they didnt try them.

yeh the **** couldve been thoughtful and smashed the drivers door window bcos it needs to be replaced b4 i get new tint done, instead i have to stuff around replacing the lock. id rather get the lock removed and filled than put in another one, but if i do decide to remove the lock and when it does get sprayed it will need to be blended in really good bcos the paint is crap. i'll go and see a crash repairer i know and see what they say...just another headfarrk tho

just a bit suprised they didnt get in, thought a tooth pick was enuf to break into them?? this one mustve been a cok smoker

Yeah, the easiest way takes only seconds and damages nothing.....it doesn't defeat an immobiliser though.

The last time someone tried to steal my car (across the road from Weston Creek Indoor Sports in the shopping centre car park in 1998) I was fortunate that my mate decided to intervene and give the guy a bit of a touch up. The only downside was that there was blood all over the car inside and out as this bloke tried to get away from 33kgs of angry Shepherd X Dingo.
Then I went to court and fought the ******* for restitution for damages and the local government to defend claims of a dangerous dog....won on the damages first time through and the dangerous dog claim on appeal.

and it happened again just this time not my vl. sisters vl got broken into last night, went thru the car stole the radio and cd's, farrked the ignition barrel and drivers door lock. we found it this morning pushed in front of our neighbours house. they couldnt get it to start so they tried pushing it down the street but the steering wheel was locked and gave up when they couldnt turn the wheel and the car was veering up the curb. got a phone call this morning saying some1 has found my sisters school work and other papers in a park just down the street from us on there early morning walk.

just f***in great

What suburbs did this happen if you don't mind me asking, as it might give other people an idea on where not to leave their beast unattended for too long..

sorry dont want to give out exact locations where the cars r kept but western and northern suburbs is where it happened, should always keep on eye out on your cars no matter where its left. just realised they also flogged the lens cover from the chrome interior calais light i put in when they removed the globe. ****s

**** man. You might as well sleep in your car next time.

You should get yourself a dog. It's like a barking alarm when someone walks near your house.
