For an NA I'd just get it running perfect, extractors and 2 and 1/4 catback, cold air intake, maybe advance timing a bit. Basically what I did and went...

Kick down switch behind the accelerator or speed sensor in the dash cluster(if working, will hold 3rd and kick down like it should) could be buggered. Find a good condition cluster and swap it over...

When my vl was na, depending on how i drove i used to average 300 - 450km a tank with round town driving, 3k stally, advanced timing and full exhaust aswell..
