i started my conversion today.. already run into a problem.

the vlt exhaust manifold doesnt want to sit on the head (the studs wont all fit). the studs for the middle cylinders (3,4) clash.

when i put the gasket on the head = its perfect
when i put the gasket on the manifold = its out of whack...

how can the manifold be wrong? its a vlt manifold too. its only a few mm off..

what should i do?

ill get a pic up 2moro

quite normal man

with a bit of wiggling and jiggling it will fit.

u might need to give it a slight tap with a small hammer , being carefull not to drag the manifold over the thread and flatten the thread.

relieve the manifold holes with a file
