I work at American Autos and we have that engine as well as the 454 on display.

They come dyno tested and the sheets are on the engines. They produce those huge power numbers on only 89-92 octane fuel and the big block runs only 9.5:1 comp and the 454 small block is 10:1 (i think). For what they are worth, it is impossible to build something similar in Australia, they are great value for money

Hopefully i get the sale and sell them :p

***! 15g for 725 out of the crate is damn good value, u just gotta find something to put it in, and a driveline that wont snap when it revs

It'd go nicely with a Liberty 4-speed and a nine inch.

Ok lets look at this realistically

I can get my hands on an HK ute for $1000 from grandpa, only 90,000 miles.

We turf the 6, throw in the crate 8.

What are looking at.
Diff?
Trans?
Cross members?
Brakes?
Exhaust?

The whole build would cost less than 30g's and you'd be running a low ten in a grandpa ute!!!

i'd have to throw one into my ap6 thats sitting in the shed doing nothing but being a cupboard. lots of stuff i could do with it. 30 g would definately finish it off with the engine.

hey!

they also do hemi and chrysler b/b crate engines as well. oooooh .....the mind starts to tick.....
