Did you use a new harmonic balancer? My machinist says I should use a new one for the rebuild especially if I'm getting it all balanced - if you did, where'd you buy it from and how much did it cost ya?

No i used a old balancer, it looked alright and the machinists where happy with it and Andrew, the flywheel is std and balanced neutral. I found you can buy brand new lightened billet flywheels from www.horsepowerinabox.com for vlts for about $350

..damn I wish you hadnt of told me about those lightened flywheels :(

Oh well, I'll get by with the standard turbo flywheel for now. Yeah I'm not sure if I should bother with a new balancer - anyone know how much they are new?

By the way - I just put a few more piccies on my site, pics of the 2 x RB20 turbos and the custom plenum chamber which I'm half way through hand polishing it at the moment.
