All depends on the regulations in your state. In WA the measure it from the middle of your headlight to the ground, and you must have 100mm clearence I believe.

Not sure about VIC though. Do a search in the other parts of the forums, and you might find the answer.

Vic is 100mm (10cm) from the lowest point of the vehicle.

the legal limit in vic is 100mm from the lowest point of the vehicle fully loaded which means full tank of fuel and 4 passengers 1 driver

How does that work? From the headlight to the ground?

If the walky is completely stock and came like that from factory you can get away with it as it came like that from factory...

Im not sure, as Ive never had to take a car over, but apparantly one of the measurements is from the headlight to the ground... strange!

ADR's... Thats why walkies are allowed holes in the bonnet, and other cars aren't....

they can't and yes they left the show room floor with them,

i would recon it's either that the bar saggin or your springs etc! 5mm he's got 2 be kidden, that could have been the camber on the road!

The unfortunate thing is that cops don't have to be right... they only have to think that something is wrong, and then they can defect ya car... thats what the pits are for....

In WA they have stickered brand new cars that dont have any fluid in the washer bottle!!

I recently contacted HSV about my walkinshaw, and I was informed that it left the factory with the lower extensions delivered in bubble wrap. Apparently they did this to the walkys for shipping (it makes sense as the cars would have been damaged on the trucks) They left it up to the dealers to put the lower pieces on. They also told me the blanks in the side skirts were also delivered but not painted.
