Ive read the entire site but im not clear on the engines there names and what they come outta. like RB30DETT and RB25DETT means nothing to me yet. for example is the RB30DETT a 3L motor that came with vlt's :?: and did it also come with skyline R32's?? any clarification would be greatly appreciated so i can get some idea of whats going on. RB = nissan straight six
20, 25, 26, 30 = engine capacity
e.g. 20 = 2L
25 = 2.5L
30 = 3L
D = double cam (twin cam)
E = electronic fuel injection (EFI)
T = Turbo (one T for every turbo fitted to the engine)
the RB30E came in the VL & Australian R31 skyline
the RB30ET was the VL turbo engine
Import R31's had the RB20's available
R32's had RB20DE , RB20DET , RB26DETT & RB25DE
R33's had RB25DE , RB25DET , RB26DETT
R34's had RB25DE , RB25DETneo , RB26DETT

...whats the diff between the RB25DET "Neo" engine and the previous RB25DET's besides that poxy plastic cover bit stuck on it? :(
