Any one planning on going to the street drags this saturday night, PROVIDING the rain stays away? (not looking good at this stage tho)

Yeah, i'll be racing for sure, if they dont cancell it.
The car is now certain to crack into the 10's, just got it back the other week.
If its cancelled, i'll have to wait another 4 bloody weeks!

im waiting to rebuild some stuff, shoud come down in the new year sometime, hopfully get a 13 or so. :D

How much does is usually cost to go as a spectator? And what about parking? I'm assuming its at A.I.R? ( Not that I can bloody go, got an exam the next day :mad: )

i assume you are running a jatco and the auto builder is the same guy who is doing the zoom mag skyline ?

Mike at MV Automatics done the full manual valve body trimatic conversion in mine.Yes, he's the guy building up that rb26dett 4 door R33.
Haven't had a drama with my box.

Yeah, i work permanent arvo's, so cant race on wednesday nights.
I wouldn't anyway, they DONT prepare the track for wednesday meets, only on the saturday meets. And even then, its questionable!!

The Saturday/Sunday drag meets is also when the competition cars/bikes also race, along with street cars. They prep the track, making it a lot more sticky, for better traction.
They dont do this for wednesday meets, as lot of the cars there dont run 11's or even better.There for its not needed.

car is coming along very slowly bud, i had given up the race with you a long time ago for the first VL in SA to tens!! LOL
I have a company car now so the Calais is sitting around doing bugger all. I've got a brand new 550hp ish to4b, 550cc injectors and the wastegate sitting here in boxes, with a manifold on the way, so soon enough it'll be breathing a bit more life. Then i'll be selling up i think!

Decided to keep it now, was thinking of selling it as well.

Be good to see it run some numbers first though, need another VLT in the SC top 10.
