if u are going to the extreme horsepower show this weekend, be sure to check out my mates red hdt vl nitron turbo, which will be there. took him a fair while to build and spray. is a very fine example of alot of work going into 1 car. it looks awesome. he's done an excellent job on it.

yeah. same paint. just resprayed. he wanted it to keep it original. thats why he also retrimmed the interior the same colour too.

Yeah I saw that too, it was basically next to the nitron. I thought it was pretty good, though my only pick was the wheels -> they needed to be bigger to suit the bigger/lower body kit. Was good as the owner was taking pics with some models on/in his car while we were there looking at it. Hmmm, models... :p

Yeah, take it from me. SA people have nothing to worrie about compared to vic's. The squad from Melbourne are real A-Holes when they come up to the country towns ( like Mildura ), they defect anything and everything they can.
I have been pulled over 2 time now for going too fast and drifting :D and got off with a warning both times ( they had no speed camera to catch my speed, though it was ovious that I was going to fast ). I still have my vic number plates on my vl and they always ask me about that. If I was caught doing that in vic I would proberly have no licence left and my car would be defected for sure.
Anyway, he should go at least 18's or 19's. 19's would suit it the best. :cool:

maybe. but its illegal. u have to change rego after 3 months i think it is.

coz there is an nsx with vic plates i think the no plate is siknsx or something like that. its always at the bay crusing and he has had the plates 4 ages

They told me to change my rego over to SA, but I tell them that my official permant residence is in Mildura, Vic (which is true) and that I'm only over here part of the year studying. I have actually asked about this and they say that your car should be registed where your permant residence is, and since I live in Vic for more than 1/2 the year, then that is my permant residence.
As for the guy with the nsx and vic rego, maybe he is allowd to keep is plates as they are personallised. Or maybe he has been told to change them, but he hasn't. :D

sorry i saw it again last night the number plate was vlct 88 correction there...yesterday went 4 a cruise and saw 3 vlct and and another vlt getting better

was that the ragers commodore cruise? that was on last night.
went to get some petrol in my dads car. was driving along tapleys hill rd and saw a vlt that id never seen before. he was on his way to that cruise. had a good run along tapleys hill rd for a while. had a look under his bonnet, had an rb20, td06, plenum, comp, 20psi, etc. sounded wicked. very laggy tho.

vlct88 belongs to Levi (goldenboy)! Very neat calais turbo indeedy!

also, if you change your rego from vic to SA and they require a vehicle identity check (it will need one), DON'T go to regency park to do it, GO TO STURT POLICE STATION on a wednesday at 10am (no booking required). I just bought a car from vic and the chick on the phone told me that they only do VIC's at regency now(WRONG!), went there, they defected the car for a tiny spot of rust at the strut tower and window tint. I removed the tint, had the rust professionally removed with a full report on what was done with photos as well, went yesterday to get it cleared, they defected it again for a whole heap of stuff(really petty little things) and I can't get back in until the 25th of november! Word is that the wednesdays at sturt police station are really chilled out and they just do their job, check the vin and engine numbers, do a police check and send it on its way.

yer VLCT88 is my new beast :D, still pretty much stock, but hey its getting hard to find stocko CT's these days and it wont stay stock for long :P... need another cruise soon i reckon fellas
