Has anyone got access to a welder? I need someone just to quickly weld a bit of metal under the car and possibly tack another bit on somewhere else.

Would be able to give some beer/cash whatever, just need it done! :)

does the welding need to be done on the car or can the piece be taken off?

hey Ash - yeah it's the floorpan :( can't really take it off lol.
just to clarify there's like a tiny crack somewhere (i actually have been under the car removing the gearbox for about 12 farking hours and havn't located it yet :| but yeah it guess just a half arsed bit of a weld anywhere would make em happy) :p

that chris dude with the white calais is a welder by trade.

i think i could do that, will be hard to get to cause don't have a pit at work and welding on cars is risky but as long as you disconnect the battery everything should be ok
