Just recorded a new PB yesterday @ A.I.R. Only had 4 runs, best of the day was an, 11.2 @ 121. My 60ft time was 1.65.
Slowly getting there, changing a couple of things for next meet, so i'll have to wait til October 3rd to crack a 10, still using PUMP fuel too.

Anyone go out there, was a major accident there, a rail car got outa control at the deep end of the track and rolled it several times.The driver was taken to hospital with reported burns to hands,arms and face.Hope he recovers well.Didn't see it myself as i was lining up to race, but seen the damaged car come back, not a pretty site.

I'm gonna try next meet to crack a 10, i think i will with this new cam that's going in very shortly.After that meet, they all yours mate, go for it.Then SA will have a VLT in the 10's, but hopefully i'll be there with you..BOTH on PUMP fuel and driven to and from the track, cant ask for much more than that!! Damn trailer cars, who needs'em!!

As for the fastest VLT in SA, that goes to a guy named Dave Readon i think his name is.It did use NOS tho, but it ran 10.3 from memory.This was at least 5 yrs ago.I have heard from a mate at work that, the engine is going in a torana shortly, and should be out soon.

I mates VLT is quicker than mine(HIPSI on these forums).Only ran it a couple of times, best was a 11.2 also, but at a huge 125mph on PUMP fuel too.I am carrying a bit more weight being a calais, but his is damn fast.Will run 10's easy, as soon as i lend him my tyres!!!

We both want 10's on PUMP fuel, and both our cars are driven on the streets regularly.

JPC 45mm ex/wstgate,custom plenum,big cooler,autronic smc,550cc injectors,
SX fuel reg,044 pump,surge tank,wade 818b cam,blitz spec-r boost controller,trimatic, 3500rpm stall, LSD with 3.7's,venolia forgies,head has had the ports cleaned up,and manifolds match ported. I thinks that it!!

But if i misunderstood, and you meant who does all my engine work, my very good mate does, he's a mechanic by trade.
Tuning though, all done by John keen at Turbotune.
All custom work, exhaust manifold,plenum and all pipe work done by ASE.
(done when he DID quality work)!!

Racing again saturday night, November 6th.

Its now got 290rwkw @ 22psi on PUMP fuel. Trying for a high 10 on Dec 4th.
Will be raising the boost shortly, and should see a little over 300rwkw.
I ran that 11.2 with 260rwkw.

Yes, John dyno does read lower than all dynos in SA from what i'm told. On anyone elses dyno it would probably read 300rwkw at 22psi instead of JOhn 290rwkw.
Auto are goos for 1/4 mile, but manuals are better to drive in general i think.
I raced when TRUST.6(Brett-whathisname) dragged his R33, his made 299.1rwkw with 5spd and borrowed Nittos, and could only manage mid/low 12's at 122mph. Mph indicates mid/low 11's like i did, as he had the same mph as me, but just cant get it to hook up.Its all there though, nice car, and he's a good bloke too.
Will be back out to race hopefully on FEB 5th, if weather isn't a boiling. See if i can crack into the 10's. Had stall converter probs of late.
Would love to put my driveline in an R32, love'em!!

Matt's turbo is a bit of a freak..

T3/4 specs selected by Vince Rigoli. Makes some good power.

Matt has since dropped a set of cams in the rb25 so it will be interesting next time he gets it down the drags.

I would like to enter the Nats, but when you race, you're always lining up, and dont ever see much. Its not every week you see the big boys from interstate, so would love to just sit back and watch, but you never know!!

Matts R33 is awesome, should be able to crack deep into the 11's now, IF he can hook it up. WILL run strong numbers if he gets a hard launch and problem free run for sure.
Yeah, if mine was manual, it would be making close to 340/50rwkw. They reckon a loss of 70rwhp from manual to auto.I read PSI-03L went from 490rwhp(manual) once he changed to the C4 Auto, made 420rwhp.
But obviously dropped is ET big time by having the auto fitted.

Spoke to Mike a few weeks back, said something about fitting a vacuum tank to stop it creeping. Hopefully have it back there sometime this week to sort it all out. If all goes well, it should be interesting on whether it finally cracks a high 10. John Keen is also going to hook my anti-lag up, that way i'll have plenty of boost in the manifold before i leave the line. Should get me outa the hole real quick, and hopefully crack it. I think the car is making enough power to do it, but whether it does is another story!!

gemini motor aswell :D . Skyline comes of the road end of Febuary :D , and
trying to get our Ke10 corolla(which is this months Zoom) ready for the nats.
And we sold the Subaru 5 wks ago....we've been flatout :)

The guy is driving it around still and hasn't turned it up yet, But he races
anything that looks sideways at him, and he has no idea about cars....sad.

The Corolla has ripped lot's of car, it seems like it would trap 108-110,
but it got a new cam and big valves last Sunday, just putting it back together.
It only made peak power at 5800rpm before, and this cam should let it rev
to 7000-8000rpm...see what happens.

and boost shoots up to 23psi, but holds 21psi. makes 196rwkw , but makes
big turbo 3.0 cylinder style torque. He is going away to england so won't
be at the nats .We are going to get Luke do a new cam for it and fit a adjustable cam gear when he gets back.

On another note Daniel Cox's rx2 went from the five speed to a jatco
lately and power went from 340 to 280rwkw, from memory it has a borgy diff
aswell, so drivetrain loss would be very similiar.

He sounds like he wouldn't even know HOW to turn the boost up. I'm sure we'll see him cruisin around racing anyone and everyone in it. That was a sweet ride, hope he takes care of it, and doesn't wrap it around a pole.

Just came back from England myself, getting bloody cold just before we left to come home.
Should make even more power, once Luke does a new cam for it.
Yeah, do lose a fair bit of power at the wheels going from manual to auto. But it'll be quicker at the track. End of the day, dyno figures mean nothing, the track tells the real story.

I want to enter, you're right Darren. I'm working on this converter thing fast, if we can sort it in time, you just never know. If i still got time before then, it'll be tuned on 28-30psi using ELF turbo race fuel, that would see it cut MID/LOW 10's for sure. I'm doing my best, fingers crossed!!

adams is white with wh statesman 18s on it. and the one u saw was drew's aero kitted red vl.

Drags are now fortnightly and no more wednesday night meets. So next meet is on the 19th of feb.

Only had 2 runs, packed everything up by 7:00pm. only went to see what RPM i'm doing over the line.Ran 2 passses @ 11.7 @ 117mph. Converter does not suit this new cam, even though im making more power than i ever have, i'm going slower. Once we get the converter sorted, and put some new FULL slicks on, time should fall big time. My G60's are finally trashed, had no grip on'em saturday nite.
Be back on the 19th Hopefully with new setup, should be real close for that elusive 10!!
