What is that horrid vibration that comes out of vns when u put the foot down?

what diff ratio do vn v6 autos run?

If its got anywhere around 200,000kms or more then mate thats the death rattle that VN's are known for.

Not all have it, but 99% of em do...

And the VN ran a Borg Warner 3.08 Diff...

I had that vibration in my ol VN, it wasn't too bad liked it when i floored it, a complete rebuild would help get rid of the vibrations in the car and you'll also get a little more power out of it.

it could be as simple as a broken engine mount. check some of these odd things out first b4 spending ya $$. u never know what it may be

Timing chain and sprockets I think. They are easy to replace though.

yeah my boss bought a VN cheap to rebuilt and resell to some moron :)

it got to about 220,000 then the crank snapped clean in half(!)
then when he got round to taking the cam out, that was also snapped at the base of one of the lobes

they also have different cranks for auto and manual for some reason

if it's when you plant your foot check the tailshaft... see if it's got play it should be tight...

And I believe that they also have a balance shaft which makes noises etc. Apparently you can disconnect them so they don't rotate.

well i duno much bout vn's ive been in a few of them though and none of them ran nicely or smoothly i duno if its just the few ive been in r farked but hey after seeing a few of them there's no way i'd buy a vn.
