View Full Version : CRUISE Saturday 20th of March
Hey guys,
This time my mates and I decided to get this cruise of ours organised a little earlier than usual.
It will be on the 20th of March at 8pm, we will meet at the Big W/Woolworths carpark on the corner of Cross Roads and Goodwood Road (opposite the cross roads bowl) we usually go up the hills, Glenelg, Town, JMS etc, just all depends on what we feel and decide on the night.
The type of cars we usually see there are VL's of course, a few r31 skylines (Aussie and imports) Supercharged Mr2's and many more.
All of you are more than welcome and please bring your mates too.
I'd like to know definites of who r going just to get an idea, so you can just write back to here, i will write more as we get closer or answer any questions you guys have, also my mob. no. is 0422329875.

Im in. but it all depends on how long i still have my car..shes going in the trader next week..i would still love one mo cruise in her.

cool, i seen pics of your car at AIR, i hope you sell your car but i don't so that you can come on the cruise with us. Would be great if you come! Already looks like a fair few cars going to be going!
bring all the VL's on the VL cruise then :P

ye hope its not too, hope its not in the work shop either be good to line up next to u even though i know you'd beat me, i've got a couple of mates who r keen to see your car too, at the moment we've got about 20 cars that are going to be there, and there still could be more!
yeah, well i'll try and keep it free, but it's going in soon to have the whole front end resprayed, and after that to have a quite large turbo fitted. ;)
nice, sounds good. What turbo you getting and where you getting it done, i'm presuming RPM? Why r u getting the front resprayed? i thought you would be getting the rear done first!

na man, all it is, is me and 2 mates who organise them, we just get all our mates together and see how many people we can get, nothing too official just do what we feel but is always a good turnout and a lot of nice cars and fun had by all!
can vs commodores come on this cruise or is it only for vl's

This cruise is for ALL cars, as long as they look reasonable or have something done to them they are more than welcome. I think my mate with a series 2 VS 5 speed will be there! You better be there Gav or i'll have to whoop you ass!
he has my 19th to attend and his mums 100ths :P

hehe, nah it's looking very doubtful, going to the clipsal 500 all day, having dinner with my mum (yes it really is her b-day LOL) and then heading out into the city for ryans b-day drinks :p

Thanks to those guys who came out last night. Was a great turnout with over 20 cars!
Yeah it was good, pity I didn't have the blown (supercharged motor) However with a noisy gearbox, it sounded like it, lol......

sorry no pics, from me anyway, i know some people took em so i will chase them up.
next time i think there should be a map organised for where we will go cruising for the night. a few people got lost especially me after the hills due to my light fuse blowing.
we don't use a map cause we never usually have that many people, we prefer to just make up where we go when we get there and then when we get to the first stop we decide where we go from there. something to think about though!
the next one should be going south on nice long stretches of road.
i agree, we'll have to convince the rest of them. they love going through the hills for somestupid reason, I like the open roads cause i can beat all my mates on them!
in the hills you cant show off your cars without risking death and they give your car a belting! 1/2 the group got lost
ye i know, they make their cars to go through there but i managed to keep up.
