I will be there for sure. Really keen on seeing how much the old girl can pull.
So your new business... what do you guys do? Mechanical Engineering?
Also after the event how much would you charge for dino tuning?
Evan
We are anticipating on becoming a large performance business for all types of cars and not just 4/8 or rotors. We will also try and bring the engineering side into it as much as posible since this is what we were taught to do.
Take a look at our website (still being upgraded) to see what we have done in terms of technical work.
Dyno tuning starts at $60 for 3 power runs and a graph of your liking. Tuning of aftermarket ecu's starts from $150 to $400 depending on complexity and time involved.
Thanx alot
I will probably have my car done in a couple of weeks and I will get you guys to tune it as I live in sydney and you sound really cool!
Evan is ur car lowered quite a lot? Just wondering because me and dad went to these guys for a dyno and u should see the speedbumps u have to go through to get there.
There is a back way... going over isn't the problem...
Its coming back over em on the way out... *scrape*
I just got back from a Dyno day held up here in QLD by Redcliffe Dyno and Performance... cost me $25 for 2 runs, with printouts, and got advice on what i need to do for the car...
the cam is running about 5 degrees retarded, and the stock ecu is not handling the lumpiness of the cam very well... with that in mind, i ended up with 120.4 RWHP (5.5HP more over when it was done with the stock cam) - and with a programmable ecu, and the cam dialed in properly, should get quite a few more ponies out of the engine...
Feel free to come around and have a chat with us guys anytime :)
Cars are our hobby first and a business second, so we don’t have mega debts to be paying off every week just to survive. Hence better service to you and more care taken.
See you guys around.
p.s like midz said there is a back way around..although i go over the killer speed hump in my lowered 180sx without any problems :)
