How about we all record down our VIN, Engine numbers, Body Trim , Everything on the TAGS. So when a members VL gets stolen and stripped for parts we can find the culprits.
I am taking a photos of mine and writting them down and storing them away a a safe place.
At least we can identify our parts then.
sounds good... but most parts don't have individual unique numbers.. unless you go scratching numbers in all your parts like turbo, plenium etc...

thats a pretty good idea althought Taping em on a cam corder is even better at least u can walk thru and around your car and describe wat u see for further evidence to cops

DO you guys know if you can buy those DNA spots that HSV are using?
Be good to have something like that already linked to the cop shop, so they can go searching for the vehical as soon as it goes and know exactly what they are looking for.
Yeah thats a decent idea...would be handy if somebody is selling ur Cooler on the forums haha...thats mine ! not is isn't...Ahah..what about the big 'MADANGRYETHNIKWITHMOBILEFONE' written on it? Ah to right mate, she's you'rs hahaha. Seriously though, that would be a good way..like a vl parts database..so we can track the parts if they go within our community..

Yeh Morgan, apparently there is an independant company in the process of patenting the 'microdot' technology (DNA dot). They are looking into bringing it out as a spray-on can accessory. This can will be able to spray thousands of DNA/Micro dots throughout the car etc.

i hate low life ****s broke into my VL Calais Turbo 2 weeks ago saturday at Villawood Bunnings ware house no 1 heard nothing or seen n e fing.
Lucky i took out my microtech computer all i got now is a broken window 2 busted doorlocks.
it didnt have a system or n e fing so wat they want?
