Im halfway through installing a JPC Stage 2 cam, I'm having trouble removing the old cam.
All the bolts are off and the cam is loose but when I try pull it out it seems like its hitting on something, I've rotated the cam 360o to see if it comes out a specific way but of no avail.
Any suggestions, help?

pull the 3 10 ml bolts at the front of the motor behind the cam gear off? and gently jiggle it out
does this cam require any modifiying/machining of the head or aftermarket management, or is it just a straight bolt in

will require lifter plate machine and aftermarket ECU, u may get away with the ECU but i dont like the chances
Its the old cam that im having trouble getting out...
And I've got a Microtech.
Im going to try it again when I get home from work
There's nothing that should stop it, if you have the retainer bolts off then you just pull the cam out. Make sure you're pulling it straight out.
All the bolts are off and it seems like lobe #1 is hitting against the block   wtf??
It just wont come out lol any ideas??
If you have taken all the lifter arms, lifter cradles and the lifters them selfs out there will be nuthing in its way just make sure you have jacked the motor up far enough so the cam clears the radiator
Also make sure you havent dropped anything down in the cam tunnel that might be jamming it
dizzy?
