looks like a bracket has ben made specifically for that. I might have to give it a go.. no more bruises on my head...
i reckon that bracket might be spot welded on from factory. i'll attack it next week & let yous know how it goes
thanks
Hi there,
Building a replica - does anyone know:
(1) Only one boot strut, or one for each side?
(2) what is the specification for the strut?
(3) Know of any other car the strut can be borrowed from, i.e. same spec?
Cheers - Scott

Hey mate...
Only 1 strut needed in the boot.
Not sure as to the specs on the strut.... Just got to you local auto store and see what they have. Any general strut should do the trick.
Cheers,
Craig

i tryn to find it out myself on the pic it looks like its got two spot welds on it
i might try hdt for the bracket as 4 the strut it may be the same as vp-vs bonnet struts:confused:
I have one on mine it go's straight down to the floor not the rear beaver panel. i had a groupA wing on it and took it off now the boot flies open when i use the popper.Rob
